  1. CDROMXY.XFS
  2.  
  3. CDROMXY.XFS is the CDROM driver and and MiNT filesystem to access
  4. multisession capable CDROM XA drives. This needs MiNT V0.96
  5. at minimum.
  6.  
  7. It looks into its own filename to find out which device
  8. and drive it should access and give access to.
  9.  
  10. X is the ASCII drive letter and Y is the physical SCSI device
  11. number.
  12.  
  13. CDROML4.XFS would expect to find the PhotoCD drive on SCSI
  14. device number 4 and will create a device, that can be accessed
  15. throgh drive letter L: from applications or the desktop.

  18. BUGS:
  19. - This XFS driver can only work with SCSI devices. (but otherwise:
  20. who cares for ACSI for this stuff ?)

  22. The previously reported problem 'The driver still would have 
  23. problems in accessing Kodak Portfolio Disks (sound information 
  24. etc.) with Falcon030' is not existing. It was a software problem in
  25. the application program that showed the ortfolio Disks.

  29. COLORPCD.PRG

  31. This is a software for PhotoCD Access. Please set the access path
  32. to the picture directory to the approproate drive letter, where the
  33. Photo CD drive shows its directory.

  35. If you do NOT want to use a PhotoCD drive, you may copy the files
  36. from PhotoCD to a harddisk and use this as PhotoCd replacement.

  38. If the appropriate path is set, COLORPCD can be put into a
  39. slideshow-mode by pressing 'Alt-X'. You can exit this mode by
  40. holding down the.... ups, I don't remember, I'll find out... :-)

  42. The best look of the photos is of course achieved if using
  43. 640x480 interlaced, TrueColor and being in the sliedshow-mode.
  44. Though in interlace mode, the photos look sharp and do not look
  45. flickery - thats because those sample photos are made to look
  46. optimal on standard TV sets (and therefore in interlace mode).
